News & Advice

As we finally shift towards autumn during the month of September, we find some of our summer displays starting to fade and looking a little shabby. However, with some dead heading and feeding, you can improve the displays so they look good for a few more weeks. If, on the other hand,  you are keen to start off your winter pots, baskets and borders, now is the time to plant them up with some of the more hardier plants such as pansies, violas, wallflowers, primroses and polyanthus, cyclamen, perennials, and bulbs, all of which we now have ready at the nursery.

We are currently clearing out and cleaning up the greenhouses and potting up our last batches of pansies, violas and primroses before we start on next season’s perennials.

Happy gardening!
